Chub Cay Marina, Bahamas, is located on the Bahamian Out Islands at the southernmost tip of the Berry Islands. Chub Cay Marina is 35 miles from Nassau, across the Bahamas Bank from the Bimini Islands at the edge of the Tongue of the Ocean.

The new marina at Chub Cay has become the marina port of choice for international luxury yachts and fishing enthusiasts, and is designed to be home to yachters and sports fishermen, with international fishing tournaments held throughout the year, including the annual Chub Cay Club Invitational Billfish Tournament and the second leg of the Bahamas Wahoo Championship.

From the Chub Cay Marina, fishing enthusiasts fish the Tongue of the Ocean and surrounding areas for Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Dolphin, Snapper, Sailfish, Shark, Tuna, Grouper, Barracuda and Wahoo, or fish the surrounding flats for Bonefish and Permit.

The newly renovated Chub Cay Bahamas marina was upgraded from a 96 slip facility to 110 slips, servicing vessels up to a 200 mega yacht size with an intended ultimate build out of 200 slips. This $250 million dollar renovation of the entire Chub Cay Bahamas complex and marina included the dredging the entire marina and channel to a 12 foot depth at low tide. Installation includes state of the art floating concrete docks by internationally known Bellingham Marine, with main piers 8-15 feet in width and finger piers 5-8 feet in width.

Marina Utilities supplied the advanced technology marina systems – water, sewer and standpipe systems. In-slip pump out sewer systems for the marina service yachts up to 200 feet in length, and provide convenience and an important environmental protection to surrounding waterways.

The renovations to the marina property included a state-of-the-art utilities plant that is computer-driven as well as backed up to eliminate power outages and low water pressure. An additional flushing channel has been built to keep the water quality of the marina as clean as possible.
